PETRA Digital Mine-to-Mill Workshop

6
PD Hours
The AusIMM Kalgoorlie Branch invites you to attend the PETRA Digital Mine-to-Mill Workshop at a discounted AusIMM member rate in April.

About this event

This  workshop will delve into the world of orebody learning data fusion and machine learning technology and case studies. Join us at Rydges Kalgoorlie to learn how to sustain mine to mill optimisation outcomes with orebody learning software. The interactive workshop will use interactive technology to enable participants to engage in peer learning experiences.

Participants will engage in the following learning experiences:

  • Gain an understand of orebody learning, data fusion ore tracking, machine learning for mine to mill applications, case studies from across the mine value chain from dig-rate prediction to dynamic processing plant set-point optimisation.
  • Engage in learning experiences designed for interactive participation and peer learning.
  • Access to demo version of MAXTA orebody learning software.
  • Participants will also be guided through a small group initiative ranking exercise with expert facilitation provided by Dr Penny Stewart, CEO PETRA Data Science and Principal Sales Engineer, Jordan Herrmann.
Learn from industry experts, network with fellow mining professionals, and identify high value low risk initiatives for your operation. Don't miss this opportunity to take mine-to-mill optimisation to the next level. Secure your spot now!

Speaker/s

Dr. Penny Stewart

Mining Engineer and Founder and CEO of PETRA Data Science
Science. She is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technical Sciences and Engineering and holds a Queensland 1st Class Mine Managers’ Certificate of Competency. Whilst working in underground and open pit mines across Australia she gained firsthand knowledge of how geological uncertainty impacts mining professionals. In 2015, Penny established PETRA, guided by the hypothesis that integrating hundreds of millions of tonnes of actual mine performance data into site-specific models provides the most accurate methods for mine productivity and efficiency estimation and optimisation. Today, PETRA’s AI-powered mining software empowers mining professionals to enhance their understanding of orebody knowledge and optimize the entire mining value chain.

Jordan Herrmann

Principal Sales Engineer, PETRA Data Science
Jordan Herrmann is a highly-regarded mining professional with over 18 years of experience throughout the mining technology industry. Working closely with site geologists, engineers and Geomet/processing as well as corporate management teams. As the Head of Sales at PETRA Data Science, Jordan connects the dots across the mining lifecycle, helping you unlock your best day every day.
